Just a small correction to an article that recently appeared in a regional newspaper; 2012 Gate entry is Adults $8.00, Children $4.00 & under 5's free.

Gosh! Where has the time gone! Still so much to do!

Entries have now closed for all Equestrian events, with the exception of the Pleasure Horse & Pony classes of course. You can enter 1/2 an hour before your first class.

Please be mindful that there may be a queue at the Steward's van. We would hate for you to miss out on classes 'cause you were still standing in the queue so please allow yourself as much time as possible to enter.  We've endeavoured to speed the entry process up for you this year too. We welcome your feedback on this.

For all other equestrian events, we're very sorry but we cannot accept any further entries. Please email or phone us with your details if you would like to have a 2013 schedule sent to you.

Missed out? Perhaps you can steward for us this Saturday instead? We could REALLY do with your assistance! You don't need any experience, all you need to do is report to the Stewards' Van by 8.30am for a quick briefing & you'll be an expert by the time you sit down to your complimentary lunch. ;-)

If horses aren't your thing, there are still plenty of other ways for you to be involved on show day. If you'd like to contribute to a worthwhile community event, we'd LOVE to have you! :-D

All equestrian competitors Please report to the Stewards' van prior to 9am, to pick up your receipt & your programme.

There are a limited number of horse pens available for those who wish to overnight. These are being booked on a "first come, first served" basis & are nearly full so contact our Horse Steward immediately if you wish to book. Pens are $5.00 per night.

Please note, these pens are NOT suitable for stallions. Stallions are NOT permitted to overnight on the show grounds. If you require stallion accommodation, please contact our Horse Steward. She has safe facilities available approx. 6km from the show grounds.

Entries to all the horse events in the various disciplines are flooding in! Remember, you only have until Friday THIS WEEK to get your entries in! Anything postmarked after this date, will be processed as a Late Entry. Please check your entry form thoroughly before sending to ensure you've entered the correct classes as incorrect or incomplete entries will be returned. Please also include a stamped, self addressed envelope so your receipt & competition programme can be sent to you.

The countdown is on!

So much to do & so little time with the weather providing a few challenges along the way too. Thanks to the recent rain, the grounds should be near perfect; not too hard for the jumpers & not too soft for buggy wheels in the harness events.

Signs are up around the neighbourhood, the cattle pavillion roof is in for a make over this week & the jump wings are all being given a lick of paint too.

Only a bit over week before entries close so get them in quick. We look forward to seeing you there!
